I am 40 years old, have 3 kids, and I have had severe bleeding with my periods for the last 3 years. At least during that time my periods came at normal intervals... about every 28 days. This month - the first month in literally years, my period is copable with. Still heavy, but not the huge flooding and massive clots as usually expected (that said, I could be counting my chickens as I'm only into Day 5)

I am posting to say thank you for this board. I first came across this forum about a year ago and have been tentative about having the ablation. About a month ago I found the site again and began reading again to gather information to help me make the decision on whether or not to get it done. I just got Novasure done on the 13th. Since then I've had a watery discharge with some spotting everyday. I was wondering how long this might last. Also, do you think it's okay for me to go back to the gym or should I wait for my 6 week follow up appt. in Dec? I'm glad I got it done but I'm a little nervous as to what to expect now. Some days I feel fine, just the discharge and other days I'm crampy and sore...Can't wait til it's all over!!
