I would like to add--just so you aren't surprised, that since EA doesn't keep you from cycling, that your bleeding may be less after one, but your cycle may stay the same. I hope you get the results you need should you choose either type, but I did want to mention that. My cycles are the same length now as before....in the beginning my period was much shorter, but it reverted to it's normal length in about three months. Of course, I bleed much much less than before and only for the week to nine days at a time, so I'm o.k. with that.

So my roundabout point is that if you are getting an EA so the bleeding will be less and you've done the testing to be sure you are as good a candidate as you can be, good. If you are getting an EA so you won't have a period every three weeks, it may or may not help.
