Yup, geraniums are easy to slip - just cut or break off a piece, and shove it in the ground. It helps if there is a junction just above where you cut it, since those junctions are where the new roots grow. Any you might as well not take a piece with blooms on it, since they usually drop. Some people have elaborate ways of preparing a cutting - rooting hormones, sand cups, etc. But with geraniums I find that you can just break 'em off and plant 'em.

All my best geraniums are cuttings. It's fun, you can just break a piece off any nice one you see, and clone it!
