Valerie, I am so glad that you got some relief! The best thing you can do for yourself right now is to keep track of your body's cycles for the next six months. It can take up to that long to know for sure if the ablation was successful. What was great for me was seeing how each month my period got shorter and the bleeding got lighter. It was also useful for me to track my emotional health especially around my cycle, as it helped my doctor identify that I was suffering from a severe form of PMS that had me enduring horrendous mood swings for the ten to fifteen days prior to the start of my period. He was able to prescribe a low dose of Zoloft that has really helped me deal with the mood swings.

Fingers crossed for at a minimum panty liner periods, and that you get the gold medal result of no more bleeding.
