I was the unlucky one in four hundred or more who had a uterine puncture.  But we didn't just settle for that... I went on to be the one in a million who had damage to my bowel as well.  (My friends here on the forum say I'm "Special" Smilieswink6)  I don't want to scare you... I just want you to know there are risks.  My advice is to talk to your doctor and find out what his success rate is, whether he's ever had problems with ablation before, and what he'd do in case of a puncture.  (Most doctors stop the procedure at that point and tell you to come back in four months or so and try it again.  My doctor ignored the fail-safe device and went in manually with a resectoscope.  I had no idea that was even a possibility.  Lesson learned the hard way.)
