July 13th has passed and it was FINE.  Ablation went very well. I took pain killers as instructed before and after and literally have not had the first twinge.  I have been on just a couple of Motrin today, and still not a bit of pain. Very VERY light discharge--clear with a little blood, but nothing that's anything close to a period. I will admit I have taken advantage of this situation and have slept a lot both yesterday and when I got home on Wednesday.  Today, I still took a long nap in the afternoon. I'm probably just basking in the opportunity to rest--whatever. It's been fine and I haven't had the first issue. During the procedure itself, something pinched very badly, and I need to wait to ask dr. what that was about, but she did have some kind of difficulty while rooting around in there. Will find out more details later. But at this point, I'm very relieved, and short of her telling me next visit that she really didn't do it at all, and we have to do it again in the hospital, I think I'm home free. I've just had so little pain and so little discharge that I began to wonder if she really did the procedure. We'll see what the ultimate outcome is in a few months, but for right now, I'm happy as can be . I guess July 13th really is a lucky day
