Oh, Anita, thank you so much! I appreciate your words of support and encouragement. I know you've been through this - and I am amazed you had Lasik around that time too!! You are one amazing woman! I can imagine the not knowing for you was also stressful: when I wake up, will I have had my hysterectomy or not??

As for me, I am definitely keeping busy - I work at a school and being off at this time of year is a bit challenging because of what needs to get done to close up the academic year. Plus my boss got a new job out of state and he will be leaving at the end of the academic year as well. The powers that be are not replacing him but consolidating his job with another one - and we are currently in the middle of a search for a new person to handle all of the new responsibilities. It's been a bit nerve-wracking. One just never knows how all of the pieces will fit together.

I'm glad I have my faith to see me through, but I'm not feeling all that much at peace right now. I've said many times over these past days - "Lord, save me from me!" because I am often my own worst enemy!

I have canceled all of my activities outside of work for the next eight weeks. I have a list of things I want to get done in the next two weeks (paying bills, ordering meds, going grocery shopping, etc.). And I do hope, that like you said, I will be glad that I did this after all is said and done.

Thank you again, Anita, for all of your support. You were "with" me in June, July and August. I'm so very grateful you walk with me once again. Peace to you!

D&C, hysteroscopy, and NovaSure (HTA was attempted, but ended being a "no go") on July 16, 2012

On Coumadin for lifetime because of repeated blood clots
Menstrual cycle was completely normal until I started Coumadin in February, 2012.  Then all heck broke loose...blood, blood, blood...to the point of nearly passing out.  Hence the reason for the above procedures! Pathology from EA indicated issues, so I had a hysterectomy on March 18, 2013
