Welcome, Husband! So sorry to hear the problems your wife is having. I'm sure it must be very difficult for your wife, but also for you, who have to watch her go through all of this. I know that sometime an ablation can fail, but I don't know much about that. I'm just so sorry...I believe ablations can be repeated if they fail, but her doctor would be able to tell you more about that. I've read that most of the time a second ablation definitely works. Unfortunately it mean having to go through this all over again...however, if it can restore your wife to a quality of life, it might be worth it.

What does her doctor say? Is it possible to get another opinion if her doctor isn't helping as much as possible? I can certainly understand not wanting a hysterectomy...how old is your wife?

I hope that you can find answers, support, and the help you both need. Keep us posted, okay?

D&C, hysteroscopy, and NovaSure (HTA was attempted, but ended being a "no go") on July 16, 2012
47 years old; no children
On Coumadin for lifetime because of repeated blood clots
Menstrual cycle was completely normal until I started Coumadin in February, 2012.  Then all heck broke loose...blood, blood, blood...to the point of nearly passing out.  Hence the reason for the above procedures! Pathology from EA indicated issues, so I had a hysterectomy on March 18, 2013
