Here I am nine hours away from reporting to the hospital. I've done all I can to help myself. I've walked every day for 30 minutes since March 1st. My work is done at the office. My house is as cleaned as it's going to get. My clean sheets are on the bed. My TV tray on wheels has my DVDs, laptop, hand cream, lip gloss, and books on it in the bedroom. And my hospital bag is packed. I'm not ready for this surgery, but I know that the hysterectomy needs to be done. If I hadn't had the ablation done, we would never have known of the other issues lurking deep inside my body.

So it's time to have the hysterectomy. It's a shame since the ablation worked so well for me. But we can't choose our outcomes, can we? (Sigh.) I'll be back once I get through this surgery. Please, if you pray, pray for me. Thanks.

D&C, hysteroscopy, and NovaSure (HTA was attempted, but ended being a "no go") on July 16, 2012
47 years old; no children
On Coumadin for lifetime because of repeated blood clots
Menstrual cycle was completely normal until I started Coumadin in February, 2012.  Then all heck broke loose...blood, blood, blood...to the point of nearly passing out.  Hence the reason for the above procedures! Pathology from EA indicated issues, so I had a hysterectomy on March 18, 2013
