I'm only 43 and have begun the fun journey of perimenopause. My grandmother was completely done with menopause by her late 40s, so in my case my doctor thinks this is okay for me since it seems to run in my family, even though my mother didn't start menopause until her mid50s. And it is a rollercoaster so far in my experience. From my novasure experience, so far, it seems like the bleeding comes and goes and yes, I bled for about 3 weeks after I had the procedure. I had the EA procedure last Thanksgiving due to severe bleeding and severe cramping. I only had one little fibroid, which the EA took care of. Not sure if that helped, but it sounds similar to mine. My doctor is just monitoring right now before we do anything else. Its frustrating, but neither of us want to just rush into the next "procedure" until we see if things get better, worse, or stay the same. Right now, I seem to be bleeding for 4 days every 3 weeks. It seems to be getting progressively a little worse each time, but its only been 4 months.
