Hi, Anita. Thanks for your kind words. It's been three and a half weeks now since my hysterectomy. You are right - life is full of setbacks, moving backward sometimes, before we can move forward. I had some additional bleeding last week, but a day of bed rest later and all is well. I ventured out today for lunch with my cousins and a brief stop at the store. I also (I confess!) made a stop into work this evening...I've been checking my e-mail regularly from home, but someone needed information I didn't have with me. So I snuck into the office when no one was there and retrieved with this guy needed. I then e-mailed it to him from home. No one should be the wiser that I stopped in! I was just pretty restless this evening so I didn't mind going in...

I'm getting more restless by the day so I presume that's a good sign. I am able to do a little more each day. All in all, I'm improving. (And I do realize that this isn't a site for hysterectomies...so thanks for bearing with me while I recover!!)

Peace!

On Coumadin for lifetime because of repeated blood clots
Menstrual cycle was completely normal until I started Coumadin in February, 2012.  Then all heck broke loose...blood, blood, blood...to the point of nearly passing out.  Hence the reason for the above procedures! Pathology from EA indicated issues, so I had a hysterectomy on March 18, 2013
