Hi everyone,
New to this board but I'm so glad you're all here !
On 29th June I had a Novasure Ablation, Hysteroscopy and Biopsy. When I came round after the surgery the pain was unbelieveable, awful, awful cramping like I've never experienced outside of labour which sent my blood pressure to 170/120 resulting in an overnight stay as they wouldn't send me home. This continued for approx 5 hours until it eased off around 1am.
I went home the next day feeling weak and nauseous but generally ok, and apart from the expected pinkish discharge everything was as I expected. Then yesterday 2nd July I began to experience cramping again, but more towards the lower left side of my abdomen, and my discharge is more bloody than pink, more like a period. My period would have been due on 5th July but often started a couple of days early. I've also had this pain today intermittently.
I haven't been eating much, and my bowels are a bit slow but I'm reluctant to 'try too hard' to go. Could this be a contributing factor?
Is this pain normal ? Could the increased bleeding be my period ?
Any advice or reassurance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Diane
