I am scheduled for the Novasure in the doctors office on Friday. I am freaking out a little! I am 53 and was on the pill for years to control my periods. The
tpill worked well but came off when I was 49. Since then was having periods every 30 days which were heavy the first 3 days, then last summer started
to have periods every two weeks. My gyn seemed to think I would stop having periods before I was 52, but that didn't happen and now it just comes more frequently!
So wish me luck! I am more nervous about the procedure being done in the office and I chose to do this by changing doctors who offer it in the office to sasave money. My
gyn for 25 years offered in hospital costing me over $1,200 out of pocket, where the in office is only my co-pay, $30. I am anxious about the procedure and hope I will be
knocked out with the Valium. Anyone else had it in the office recently and what was the experience?
