The cramping was constant and pretty painful from the time I woke up in recovery until several hours later. I kept it under control with Norco, which they gave me in recovery, and Percocet when I got home. I had to take 3 total from the time I got home until I went to sleep...which was around midnight. It's now the next morning and the cramping seems to be gone.
As for the discharge...it is changing quite rapidly! The first couple hours looked like something from a horror movie! But then it became more watery (but still pretty red), and now it's still watery but a very faint pink in color. I have to wear 2 pads when I'm lying down for when I feel it running down my back side, lol.
Anyway, that's all I've got for now. As with most procedures (for me) the worst part was getting the IV in! It took 3 attempts by 3 different nurses and it was more painful than the procedure itself. I told them to stay away from my hands but they just wouldn't listen!
