Then I've got a question for you.
During my endometrial ablation surgery, I had one pendunculated fibroid removed, but my doctor told me that the two remaining submucous fibroids (within the walls of each side of my uterus - impossible to remove) were quite large, so he wanted to give me a Zoladex shot (same as Lupron) for the next two months, reason he stated being:
"Really, the whole success of the surgery lies on that, because if you have a cycle right now, it will not allow the ablated area to heal enough to seal over those fibroids."
So it made me wonder, have others with fibroids had improved success from their ablations because of having post-op (after surgery) Lupron/Zoladex shots? So I made this poll. Please, feel free to also post your thoughts.
(FYI: In this poll, the definition of a "successful" EA is little to no period.)
PLEASE, DO NOT ANSWER THIS POLL UNLESS YOU HAVE HAD FIBROIDS AND AN EA. Thanks!
Post-op Zoladex/Lupron and your surgery success???
